Vivaro Limited welcomes the amended decision of the Administrative Court - gets gaming license back

On september 17, 2021, the gaming Inspectorate chose to revoke Vivaro limited's New Zealand gaming license because the gaming Inspectorate said at the time that the gaming company had not started its New Zealand gaming activities, which the gaming license is intended for.

The gaming license in question was issued by The New Zealand Gaming Authority – New Zealand's Official Gaming Authority since december 2018 – on July 13, 2021 and despite this, the gaming company, registered in New Zealand, had still not started anything that could be interpreted as digitally conducted gaming activities in New Zealand.

With this to the Spelinspektionen's knowledge, The New Zealand authority chose to withdraw Vivaro limited's gaming license because they judged that the gaming company had done nothing about it despite a warning to begin with.

Since October 19, 2021, Vivaro limited appealed the decision of the gaming Inspectorate on the revoked gaming license as they considered that the company had had the purpose of actually starting New Zealand gaming operations within the country.

Now, however, it turned out that the gaming company had not started with it, which caused the Spelinspektionen to see red and request this revocation of the gaming license, which almost happened until something miraculous, for Vivaro Limited, occurred at the last moment.

This happened with Vivaro Limited!

When the Administrative Court (FR) looked at the appeal from Vivaro Limited, it was able to determine that in current circumstances such as the pandemic and summoned company staff to ongoing services, it was more reasonable and fair to only give the company a warning, which in itself means that it gets a chance to correct itself with the New Zealand gaming license.

It was then on October 21, 2021 that the gaming Inspectorate published the amended decision from FR that the gaming company should only receive a warning and thus be able to continue its possible gaming activities on New Zealand's digital and physical regulated gaming market, which first entered into$aft on the first of January 2019. What gambling sites is it that Vivaro Limited conducts that will possibly make its debut in New Zealand then, may believe?

These include Vbet Casino and Playland Casino in the current case, the first of which offers online casino games from Microgaming, NetEnt, World Match and 80+ more game providers. Playland casino has game providers like NetEnt, ZEUS Play, Playson and just over 30+ game providers on top of that.

Please note that these gambling sites are not yet launched in New Zealand, which means that you can not play there with New Zealand consumer protection, which the New Zealand Gambling Act, thanks to the introduction of the Spelinspektionen and the Gambling Act itself entails.
